As Apple Engineer & Trainer, you will be responsible for performing a broad spectrum of activities in engineering, developing, and deploying macOS and iOS solutions for business customers. You will also be responsible for delivering professional service and training engagements at customer locations throughout the United States.

This is a remote position that requires domestic travel. You may telecommute from anywhere in the United States that is within 50 miles of a major airport.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Experience in managing and engineering macOS and iOS solutions.

  • Experience with Apple software such as Apple Configurator, ARD, macOS Server.

  • Experience with macOS and iOS management suites such as Jamf Pro, AirWatch, etc.

  • Experience in software packaging and software deployment for macOS.

  • Experience in configuring and managing policies.

  • Ability to evangelize modern IT practices for deploying and managing Apple devices.

  • Experience with performing root cause analysis, risk identification, and risk mitigation.

  • Interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate effectively.

  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups of 5 to 25 people.

  • Excellent written and oral communications.

  • 5+ years of relevant Apple experience.

  • Ability to travel up to 75%

Desired Certifications/Experience/Skills:

  • Apple Certified Support Professional

  • Jamf Certified Admin

  • Working knowledge of Wi-Fi networks.

  • Working knowledge of macOS command-line and scripting.

  • Experience with public speaking and teaching adult learners.

  • Experience supporting customers in secure environments, familiarity of cybersecurity frameworks and applicable controls.
