Workforce Development Coordinator – St. Louis
As Workforce Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing a broad spectrum of activities in developing and supporting our workforce development programs. This exciting role is focused on building and maintaining relationships with workforce development partners, community leaders, and jobseekers throughout the St. Louis region.
This is a part-time role with an opportunity to grow into a full-time position.
Experience in connecting job seekers to training programs or employment, helping employers diversify their workforce, or assisting youth with career skills.
Knowledge of helping those who are unemployed, under-employed, or dislocated.
Ability to lead conversations during meetings and workforce development events.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and candidates.
Comfortable interacting on the phone and in-person to position training solutions.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and effectively respond to change.
Interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate effectively.
Excellent written and oral communications.
A passion for learning and continued education.
Knowledge of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
Knowledge of the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE).
Knowledge of the Missouri Eligible Training Provider System (ETPS).
Knowledge of Apple or CompTIA technical training and certification courses.
Experience with training and education solutions.
Experience with public speaking or teaching adult learners.
Experience in using Mac or iOS devices.
2+ years of relevant experience.
